Globus Medical Sued by Distributor Over VA Bone Graft Contract

Globus Medical Inc. was hit with an antitrust lawsuit in Texas federal court accusing the biotech company of trying to usurp a distributor’s bone graft contracts with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Pentagon.

Spartan Medical Inc. successfully bid for a share of the “the largest biologics award ever” granted by a federal government contract, according to the complaint it filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
