Glenmark Reaches Undisclosed Settlement in Zetia Antitrust Case

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is finalizing a deal to settle claims it conspired to delay the generic version of cholesterol drug Zetia.

Insurer plaintiff United HealthCare Services Inc., a unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc., and Glenmark on May 23 filed a joint notice of settlement in the US District Court for the District of Minnesota, saying the parties have “reached an agreement in principle.” Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed, and both parties didn’t immediately respond for comment.
