Federal Trade Commission urges U.S. judge in Washington not to dismiss antitrust complaint agency filed in August to salvage landmark case that was thrown out in June.

  • FTC argues “Facebook has interfered with the competitive process by targeting nascent threats through exclusionary conduct in a successful effort to protect its monopoly power”
  • “Facebook has eliminated some threats entirely by acquiring them; others it has targeted by conditioning valuable growth tools on agreements to refrain from competing with Facebook or assisting its competitors—and enforcing these agreements when necessary to deny potential,” according to Wednesday filing
