France’s antitrust authority fines Altice €75 million for failing to carry out steps ordered by the agency in 2017 over the rollout of fiber-optic service, according to statement from Autorite de la Concurrence.
- Altice was fined €40 million in 2017 for not honoring commitments related to the fiber deployment after receiving green light from authority in 2014 to buy SFR; competition authority at that point ordered it to complete certain steps related to fiber rollout
