Fire Truck Manufacturers Hit With $5 Million Price-Fixing Suit

Fire truck makers Oshkosh Corp., Pierce Manufacturing, REV Group Inc., and Rosenbauer America LLC were sued in federal court on allegations they conspired to inflate the cost of fire trucks and suppress supply.

The city of La Crosse, Wis., accused the manufacturers of making an illegal agreement to fix and raise the price of fire trucks in the US, causing it to significantly overpay for the vehicles.

The allegations were filed in a proposed class action Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
