DOJ Tells AT&T That DirecTV, Dish Merger May Have to Wait: NYP

DOJ antitrust division regulators have told AT&T executives that a merger between DirecTV and Dish may have to wait until faster 5G wireless service is more widely available in rural markets, the New York Post reports, citing two unidentified people close to the situation.

  • Merger may be easier to pursue in a few years, people familiar told the NYP
