A federal judge dismissed an antitrust lawsuit brought by Ohio doctors who accused a health-care provider of monopolizing the market for orthopedic services.
The suit, filed last year in the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, accused Adena Health System of engaging in anticompetitive conduct—including imposing noncompete clauses on physicians and blocking competitors’ access to real estate—in order to maintain a monopoly on orthopedic care in southern Ohio.
