Subsidiaries of French grocery chains Casino and Intermarche have been fined two separate fines, each worth €2 million, for restrictive competition practices against some of their suppliers, French court of appeals wrote in a statement Wednesday.
- Restrictive competition practices took place in 2015
- SAS ITM Alimentaire International, SAS Achats Marchandises Casino, SARL Intermarche Casino Achats ordered to pay €2 million
- SAS Achats Marchandises Casino, SARL Intermarche Casino Achats also ordered to pay €2m
- SAS Monoprix ordered to pay up to €500,000 of that fine
