CargoSprint Beats Shipping Logistics Antitrust Suit, for Now

PayCargo LLC failed to offer enough economic detail to back up its claims that CargoSprint LLC used its warehouse logistics software to monopolize payment processing services for cargo shippers and freight carriers, a Georgia federal judge ruled Nov. 5. But the company can try again, the judge said.

The suit accuses CargoSprint of coercing shippers and carriers that rely on its “SprintPass” freight pickup platform into using its “SprintPay” processing software as well. “Tying” those two products together violates antitrust laws, it said.
