California Taking Close Look at Warner Bros. Mergers: Bonta

California Attorney General Rob Bonta said state is closely reviewing proposed purchase of Warner Bros. by Paramount or Netflix, citing antitrust concerns.

• “The proposed Warner Brothers transactions must receive a full and robust review, and California is taking a very close look, ” Bonta said
• Further consolidation in critical markets can harm the economy, consumers and competition, Bonta said
