A coalition representing independent businesses across the US urged federal leaders to reinvigorate antitrust enforcement and rein in corporate power in the food, healthcare and retail sectors.
The Main Street Competition Coalition held an event Thursday at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, outlining an agenda that advocates for structural reforms including funding antitrust agencies, renewing federal and state actions against discriminatory pricing, and ending forced arbitration.
