Brazil’s Cade Approves Bunge-Imcopa Deal Without Restrictions

Bunge was authorized by Brazil’s antitrust regulator to buy two plants from local crusher Imcopa, according to a decision published in the official gazette.

  • Operation “doesn’t raise major competitive concerns” in the segments of acquisition of soybeans, soybean meal, degummed soybean oil, ethanol and vegetable fatty acids, according to documents on Cade’s website
