Five board directors at three companies stepped down in the most recent wave of resignations since the Justice Department began efforts to stop individuals from concurrently serving on competing companies’ boards.
The resignations at cloud security provider Qualys Inc., software firm N-Able Inc., and Sun Country Airlines Holdings Inc. occurred after the DOJ’s antitrust division queried them about “interlocking” directors, the division said in a statement Thursday.
The director who resigned from Qualys also declined to stand for reelection to the board of F5 Inc., a competitor of Qualys, the division said.
