Biden Requests $63 Million Boost to DOJ’s Antitrust Division (1)

The Department of Justice’s antitrust division would get a $63 million increase under President Joe Biden’s fiscal 2025 budget proposal, amid heated debates in Congress over changes to the agency’s funding streams.

The funding request for the year starting Oct. 1 would hike the division’s funds compared to the fiscal 2023 enacted level to a total of $288 million, but is less money than Biden had asked for last year.
