Benco Is Last of Big Three to Settle Dental Supply Boycott Suit

Benco Dental Supply Co. is the last of the U.S.'s “big three” dental suppliers to settle a lawsuit in a New York federal court claiming they illegally boycotted an online distribution portal.

The antitrust suit alleged a conspiracy involving Benco, Henry Schein Inc., and Patterson Cos., which together control 80% of the dental supply market. It was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York by SourceOne Inc., which runs the web-based distribution platform allegedly targeted by the boycott.
