A federal judge awarded roughly $185 million in fees to attorneys representing plaintiffs in an antitrust case against
Class counsel had asked for $205.7 million in fees. Judge James D. Peterson of the US District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin said in a Sept. 5 order that $185 million is appropriate given it represents 30% of a court-approved $630 million settlement between CDK and a certified class of automotive technology vendors, after expenses and a service award are subtracted.
