Assa Abloy Accused by DOJ of Breaching Antitrust Settlement

Assa Abloy AB is violating the terms of a settlement that paved the way for the company to complete its acquisition of a unit of Spectrum Brands Holdings Inc., the Department of Justice alleged.

The DOJ claimed in a filing Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Columbia that Assa Abloy is refusing to cover the costs of an independent monitor who was assigned by the court to review aspects of the deal.
