Apple Seeks Commission Reprieve in App Store Fight With Epic

A federal appeals court appeared inclined to allow Apple Inc. to collect a commission on purchases made outside of its App Store, but struggled with the best way to determine that rate.

The iPhone maker was back before a US federal appeals court Tuesday contesting an order that would force it to open its lucrative mobile applications marketplace with links to cheaper payment options.
