Antitrust Bills Ready for Floor Votes Next Week, Sponsor Says

Antitrust legislation to rein in the largest US tech companies could pass as soon as next week, the House lawmaker leading the bills said Tuesday.

The legislation “is ready to be brought to the floor for a vote in both the House and Senate,” Representative David Cicilline, chair of the House Judiciary antitrust panel, told reporters on the sidelines of a briefing for congressional staff about the bills.
