North American Partners in Anesthesia LLP has reached an undisclosed settlement with two hospitals in lawsuits that accused the national provider of using noncompete and nonsolicitation clauses to maintain a monopoly over anesthesia services.
NAPA and the plaintiffs, Holy Cross Hospital of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, N.Y., jointly filed notices of settlement Tuesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the US District Court for the Northern District of New York.
Attorneys for NAPA and the two hospitals didn’t immediately respond to requests for details about the settlements. ...
