Air France-KLM Eyes London, Geneva Amid Easyjet Asset Interest

Air France-KLM Chief Executive Officer Ben Smith said EasyJet owns attractive slots in places like Geneva and London, assets that might come into play should the UK budget carrier get taken in a possible bid by Castlelake LP.

“They have operations in a lot of cities where we would like to have a larger presence,” Smith said in an interview at the Paris Air Forum on Friday. “We have no significant operation in London, we don’t have a big presence in Nice, we don’t have a big presence in Geneva, we don’t have a big presence in Milan.”
