The Las Vegas Sun, which has accused a rival of trying to drive it out of business, assailed as “myopic” and “superficial” the defense advanced by billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, the GOP megadonor who owns the competing newspaper.
“Baldly denying the existence of facts and advancing incorrect legal standards are not proper grounds for” dismissal, the Sun says in court papers filed Dec. 6.
