Acuity Brands Settles Antitrust Lawsuit Over Sales Partnership

Acuity Brands Inc. and sales partner KSA Lighting & Controls Inc. have resolved federal antitrust litigation in Chicago challenging the structure of their distribution agreements.

Acuity and KSA docketed a settlement Wednesday with Force Partners LLC, the rival lighting products distributor that brought the case. The agreement’s details are “strictly confidential,” and it doesn’t constitute an admission of wrongdoing by Acuity or KSA, according to the joint court filing.
