Biden Targets Race, Gender Impacts With Regulation Proposal (1)

US officials would formally gauge how their health, pollution, and workforce policies help or harm racial and ethnic minority groups, under a proposal released by the Biden administration.

The plan, released Thursday, would direct federal agencies to better account for the costs and benefits of their regulations on individuals and households, as well as companies.
