Skadden Promotes Gammello, Gökçebay to Partners on Tax Teams

Skadden has elected Melinda Gammello and Nazmiye Anna Gökçebay as partners in Washington, D.C., and New York, the firm said Wednesday.

Gammello, who has been named a partner on the tax controversy and litigation team in Washington, works with multinational corporations, financial institutions, and individuals on tax controversy and tax planning matters, according to Skadden.

Gökçebay was appointed to tax partner in New York. She focuses on advising domestic, international, and multinational clients on the US federal income tax aspects of transactions, Skadden said.
