Nelson Joins Gibson Dunn’s Tax Team as Senior Counsel in Houston

Greg Nelson has joined Gibson Dunn as a senior counsel with the tax practice group, the firm said Monday.

Nelson focuses on federal income taxation involving corporations and partnerships in the energy sector, according to the firm.

He counsels clients on tax issues related to private equity transactions and publicly traded partnerships and works on the structuring of corporate mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions, Gibson Dunn said.
