Alston & Bird Adds Robert Friedman as Tax Partner in New York

Robert Friedman joined Alston & Bird as a partner in its federal and international tax group in New York, the firm announced Tuesday.

Friedman represents clients in all facets of corporate and partnership tax matters, advising on the tax aspects of private equity transactions, public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, secondary transactions, fund formation, and financial products.

He will collaborate closely with corporate and private equity lawyers, as well as other practices across the firm, to help clients navigate an increasing volume of complex transactions, the firm said.
