Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos Car Venture Cuts ‘Several Hundred’ Staff

Ineos Automotive Ltd., the car business launched by UK billionaire industrialist Jim Ratcliffe, is cutting “several hundred” jobs as the loss-making venture grapples with higher US tariffs.

The reduction in headcount will affect office staff across multiple locations to boost efficiency, the company said in a statement Thursday. Ineos Automotive said it will now focus on its core manufacturing and commercial activities.
