EBay Projects Solid Sales, Showing Resilience Amid Tariffs (1)

EBay Inc. projected sales for the current quarter that exceeded analysts’ estimates, showing resilience in the face of exposure to President Donald Trump’s trade war.

Revenue will be $2.59 billion to $2.66 billion in the period ending in June, the company said Wednesday in a statement. Profit, excluding some items, will be as much as $1.31 a share. Analysts, on average, estimated sales of $2.6 billion and per-share earnings of $1.29, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
