The National Basketball Players Association saw its external legal expenditures drop for the second straight year, as the labor union representing NBA players also disclosed the pay of its new legal chief and added at least one large law firm to its outside counsel roster.
Winston & Strawn, a longtime primary outside counsel to the New York-based NBPA, took the lead with roughly $538,000 in legal fees.
