United to Reduce Regional and Domestic Flights Under FAA Cuts

United’s long-haul international flying and hub-to-hub flying will not be impacted by the schedule reduction direction from FAA, CEO Scott Kirby says in a statement.

  • United will focus schedule reductions on regional flying and domestic mainline flights that do not travel between hubs
  • Even with schedule reductions, United and its United Express partners will still offer about 4,000 flights per day
