Dimon Says Hard for Fed to Cut Rates Until Inflation Cools: CNBC

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon says “if inflation does not go away” it will be hard for the US Federal Reserve to cut rates, in an interview with CNBC-TV18 .

  • “People focus too much on 25 basis points”
  • Dimon says “hopefully we’ll pick a good Fed chair”
  • The Trump administration “is more pro-growth, but we haven’t really attacked the fiscal deficit problem yet”
    • “Growth will do some of that, but I don’t know if it will do all of it”
