States’ Privacy Laws Leapfrog California

Maryland, Connecticut, Virginia, and Oregon banned sales of precise geolocation data. Connecticut and Maryland also prohibited businesses’ use of consumers’ personal data to set personalized prices, and New York is aiming to join them.
