Penn State defeated several claims by a White professor over anti-racism trainings that he was required to attend and related conduct, but the university must face his harassment claims.
The ruling Thursday by the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania distinguished the former English assistant teaching professor’s suit from “out-of-circuit” cases in which hostile environment claims by White plaintiffs relating to anti-racism trainings were rejected.
