Ukraine Parliament Considers Bill on 2026 State Budget

The Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada) Sept. 15 accepted for consideration Bill No. 14000, the 2026 state budget bill. The bill includes measures to: 1) set the monthly minimum subsistence level at 3,209 Ukrainian hryvnias (US$77.92); 2) set the monthly minimum subsistence level at 3,328 hryvnias (US$80.81) for able-bodied individuals and at 2,595 hryvnias (US$63.01) for disabled individuals; 3) set the monthly minimum wage at 8,647 hryvnias (US$209.96); 4) set the hourly minimum wage at 52 hryvnias (US$1.26); 5) specify that pension amounts from the solidarity system of compulsory state pension insurance will be determined at the level of three subsistence ...
