The Taiwanese Executive Yuan Gazette Oct. 21 published Ministry of Labor Announcement No. 1140148807, increasing the monthly and hourly minimum wage rates, effective Jan. 1, 2026. The announcement includes measures increasing to: 1) NT$29,500 (US$959.33) from NT$28,590 (US$929.74), the monthly minimum wage rate; and 2) NT$196 (US$6.37) from NT$190 (US$6.17), the hourly minimum wage rate.
