The hourly minimum wage in Redwood City, California will rise to $18.20 from $17.70 effective Jan. 1, 2025, according to an update on the city’s website.
The city updated its letter to businesses notifying them of the minimum wage increase. The letter is available in English, Spanish, and Chinese.
Redwood City has yet to update its flyer and official city notice on its website.
Redwood City is the latest locality within San Mateo County to announce its minimum wage for 2025.
