The hourly minimum wage for Menlo Park, Calif., is to rise by 25 cents Jan. 1.
The wage is to increase to $15.25 from $15, the city manager’s office said Oct. 13.
The new wage, which applies to employees who work at least two hours a week in the incorporated areas of Menlo Park, is to be adjusted for inflation starting in 2022, with the maximum wage capped at $15.70.
California does not allow tip credits to be applied toward minimum wage.
