The city of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County, California, released their minimum wage rates effective July 1, according to updates on their websites.
The minimum wage will rise to $18.42 from $17.87 in the city of Los Angeles and to $18.47 from $17.81 in Los Angeles County, according to the updates. The county minimum wage only applies to unincorporated areas of the county.
Neither jurisdiction has released an updated minimum wage poster for use starting July 1.
