HK Plans to Raise Minimum Wage to HK$43.1/Hour From HK$42.1/Hour

The Hong Kong government adopted the recommendation of the Minimum Wage Commission on raising the statutory minimum wage rate from its prevailing level of HK$42.1 per hour to HK$43.1, according to a statement.

  • Subject to the approval of the Legislative Council, the revised rate will come into force on May 1
