E-Verify to No Longer Be Accessible Using Internet Explorer 11

March 9, 2022, 8:17 PM UTC

E-Verify is to no longer be accessible using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 11 beginning April 30, according to a March 8 news update on the website.

E-Verify users can instead use Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox to access the website, the news update states.

Users will not be able to access the E-Verify webpage through Internet Explorer 11 because Microsoft is retiring it and its desktop application on June 15.

E-Verify is a U.S. Department of Homeland Security website that enables an employer to determine employment eligibility for employees based on their Forms I-9.
