Dominican Republic Increases Minimum Wages April 1

The Dominican Republic increased its standard monthly minimum wages April 1, ahead of another increase Feb. 1, 2026, under a March 3 resolution from the country’s National Wages Committee.

Under the resolution (Spanish), standard monthly minimum wages range from 15,860.32 Dominican pesos (US$252.41) to 27,988.80 Dominican pesos, depending on the size of a business, up from 14,161 Dominican pesos to 24,990 Dominican pesos. These minimum wages apply to employees who are not covered by an industry-specific minimum wage.
