Delaware Extends Current Unemployment Tax Rates Through 2024

Delaware’s unemployment tax rates will remain unchanged for 2024, under a bill Gov. John Carney (D) signed July 25.

Tax rates for experienced employers in 2024 will continue to range from 0.3% to 5.6%, while the rate for new employers will remain 1.2%, under HB 236. The tax rates include an additional supplemental assessment, which will also remain unchanged at 0.2%.

Including the supplemental assessment, the the tax rate for delinquent employers will remain 6.5%.
