The Cayman Official Gazette Dec. 15 published Order No. SL 60/2025, increasing national minimum wage rates and specific allocable amounts. The order includes measures increasing to: 1) 8.75 Cayman dollars (US$10.52) from 6 dollars (US$7.21), the hourly national minimum basic wage rate; 2) 6.56 dollars (US$7.88) from 4.50 dollars (US$5.41), the hourly national minimum basic wage rate for service employees of employers with a gratuity distribution regime; and 3) 2.19 dollars (US$2.63) from 1.50 dollars (US$1.80), the maximum amount allocable to accommodations and utilities for live-in household employees, or to commissions for commission-based employees.
