Belgium Increases Monthly Minimum Wage, Effective Nov. 1

Belgium’s standard monthly minimum wage increased effective retroactively to Nov. 1, its Federal Public Service Employment, Labour, and Social Dialogue said Nov. 17.

The standard minimum wage (Dutch) increased to 1,994.18 euros (US$2,182.83) per month, up from 1,954.99 euros. Hourly minimum wages are provided for 38, 39, and 40-hour weeks and are 12.1104 euros, 11.7999 euros, and 11.5049 euros, up from 11.8724 euros, 11.568 euros, and 11.2788 euros, respectively.
