Amazon Flex Drivers Must Hand Over Some Documents in Wage Case

Delivery drivers for Amazon.com Inc. suing the retailer over their wages must produce documentation of their phone and vehicle expenses as part of theirlong-running case, but they can keep some personal information such as diary entries out of court.

The retailer is entitled to the financial documents and records on contemporaneous jobs the drivers might have held to help it defend against the wage-and-hour claims of workers who deliver Amazon packages through its Flex program, the US District Court for the Western District of Washington said.
