2 Washington Cities Announce 2026 Minimum Wage Rates

Renton and SeaTac, Washington, announced minimum wage increases for calendar year 2026 on their websites.

The 2026 minimum wage in SeaTac, which applies to employers in the hospitality and transportation industries, will rise to $20.74, according to the city’s minimum wage notice.

The minimum wage in Renton will increase to $21.57 for large employers for all of 2026, according to the city’s website. The minimum wage for mid-size employers will be $20.57 from Jan. 1 to June 30, 2026, and $21.57 for the rest of the 2026 calendar year, according to the website.
