U.S. Audit Overseer Moves to Telework During Virus Outbreak

All staff at the U.S. audit regulator will begin working remotely as the coronavirus continues to spread across the country.

The mandatory work-from-home policy kicks in Thursday to protect the health and welfare of about 800 employees at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. The board also suspended international travel through the end of April, which will impact inspections for foreign audit firms.
