Trump Makes DOL Picks for Labor Solicitor, Wage and Hour Chief

President Donald Trump nominated EEOC Acting General Counsel Andrew Rogers as head of the Labor Department’s Wage and Hour Division and attorney Jonathan Berry as labor solicitor, according to the White House.

The two, if confirmed by the Senate, would join the labor agency as it prepares to undertake potential drastic cuts under the auspices of Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency.

Rogers previously worked in the WHD during the first Trump administration. He later moved to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where he was former chief counsel to Republican commissioner Andrea Lucas, who is now acting chair of the EEOC. ...
