SEC Plans to Meet With More Audit Firms on US-Listed Chinese Cos

The SEC met with the four largest U.S. audit firms in November 2019 to discuss audit quality for U.S.-listed companies with significant operations in emerging markets, including China, and expects to have similar meetings with other U.S. audit firms on these issues.

• SEC also emphasized the need to consider potential disclosure of the impact of coronavirus and its general policy to grant appropriate relief from filing deadlines in certain situations
